Mk-19s are tremendously fun. The grenade is actually big enough and slow enough that you can actually see them arch through the air on their way to whatever you’re shooting at.
When vehicle mounted, you can also get a resonance going with the suspension that will eventually have the front wheels of an uparmored HMMWV bouncing off the ground if you let it go far enough . Everyone else in the truck will be having a lot less fun than the gu nner, though.

I fired the M203 a few times, but with powder puff rounds. Mid-80s. Not only could see the round, but I was amazed at how far it would go. This was the first video I’d seen that showed the fragmentation rounds impacting.
Fun? I guess that depends upon whether you are delivering or receiving.
